Curator: Avital Naor Wexler

Participants: Nitzan Mintz and Dede

Nitzan Mintz and Dede, street artists who are partners in life and in art, come to Jerusalem to create a site-specific work. As in all their collaborative works, they explore the relationship between image and text. Listening to the spirit of the time and the place, and examining the strata of history in the ancient Jaffa Road, which connects Jaffa Port in the west with Jaffa Gate in East Jerusalem, they uncover the hidden connections between past, present, and future in the city. As another layer in the history of the city, the piece hides the forsaken Batei Saidoff’s shops while revealing something about the passage of time, passersby, and what will come to pass.
